The Zombie Run

Looking for some entertainment and exercise?  Enter the Zombie Run, noon, Saturday, May 14 at Birch Hill Recreation Area.  Be a zombie or try to escape zombie madness!  

• $20 for adults, $10 for children 14 and under.  
  
• We have t-shirts for the first 40 runners, but with limited sizing.

Welcome to both runners and walkers!

• Register online as either a zombie or human. 
• Humans are given a flag football belt with three flags denoting three "lives" and head out on the Birch Hill trails either walking or running.  
• Zombies are either chasing runners/walkers or stationed in ambush areas along the 5k trail. 
• Zombies try to capture as many flags or "lives" as they can. 
• The winning human is the racer that crosses the finish line first with at least one life remaining. 
• Extra lives will be made available along the course.
• Prizes will be given for top human finishers, top zombie life-takers, and best costumes. 

This is truly a fun run, complete with adrenaline rush. All proceeds benefit FXC, the junior racing program of the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks.
