The Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks is pleased to host The 15th Annual Ski for Women 12:30 on Sunday, April 9th at Birch Hill. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living. The Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living’s vision is a community free of violence. IAC provides programs to address domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, suicide intervention, and crisis services for victims of other violent crimes. This Spring social ski is open to all ages and abilities. Ski up to 5k untimed, bid at the silent auction, and bring a dish to share for our post-ski potluck. Costumes encouraged! Cost: By donation (suggested donation $20) Free kick waxing from 11 am to Noon for Classic Skis.
