Stay motivated and gain fitness this summer with weekly strength training and interval classes!
On Tuesday evenings you will meet at Birch Hill for an outdoor strength routine. Coach Christina Turman will lead you through a warm-up, and full body strength routine with an emphasis on core strength. You will need to bring your own workout mat, water bottle, and optional dumbbells. This class will be designed to accommodate and challenge all fitness levels. No prior experience strength training needed!
On Thursday evenings coach Christina Turman will teach you proper ski walking, moose hoof, and bounding techniques and lead you through a weekly interval workout. Locations will vary.
The interval group can accommodate different fitness levels but participants should have a base line fitness of being able to jog 20 minutes continuously. No prior experience with ski walking or bounding needed!
