Fall is a transition time between our summer and winter activities, and yoga can be a great way to help recover and prevent injuries. It can even help make you a better skier! A regular yoga practice is great complement to our cardio and strength activities. The intent of this series of fall classes is to encourage movement to gain flexibility and some strength while learning about yoga principles that are relevant to skiing. Along with the physical aspects of yoga, we will explore breath work, mindful awareness of our bodies, tricks for balance, and techniques to relax and focus our minds.
Variations will be offered for yogis of all skill levels.
FXC Masters is very excited to offer this class class again with one of our own, yoga instructor Tom St. Clair.
No prior yoga experience necessary, all inflexible (and flexible) skiers are welcome!
