
Fall Biathlon:
Who: Open to all levels of experience. Ages 10+
Session Dates: Saturdays and Sundays, Aug. 23 to Sept 21, 2025*
Where: Practices take place at:
Birch Hill Recreation Area Biathlon Range,
101 Wilderness Drive, Fairbanks
Schedule is as follows:
Saturdays and Sundays at Birch Hill Biathlon Range
Saturdays:
Advanced will practice 12-2:00 p.m. (including range set up)
Beginners will practice 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Sundays:
Beginners will practice 12-2:00 p.m.
Advanced will practice 2:00-4:00 p.m. (including range clean up)
Cost: $280
*There is no range control for Labor Day weekend so there will be no practice.
All equipment, including rifles and ammunition, is provided. Class includes safety instruction, shooting instruction, games and more!
This is a shooting-focused program. Some games and activities may include a fitness component, but the focus will be on shooting accuracy.
Please bring appropriate athletic wear and a warmer layer for outdoor practices at the range. Indoor practices will take place at TVSA.
NSCF membership for the 25-26 season is required to participate in all programs. Please Renew or Join before proceeding with biathlon registration.
A USBA membership is also REQUIRED to participate.

Instructor Bio: Warren Rosholt is our Head Coach for biathlon. He was a competitive biathlete for five years and has more than 9 years of coaching experience with both youth and adults.
